I love my stealth heater 
| Installation and Operation |
It's a problem with many heaters I've owned that they don't affix well to the side of the tank. They tend to flop in the direction the cord is pulling them and that bugs me. Sometimes it is enough to pull them off the side of the tank. I like to place my heater vertically but in the past this has been a pain. I had heard lots of aquarists on TRT talk about the Stealth heater and never a bad word was uttered so I decided to get one myself to replace an inaccurate heater in my reef tank. It came with a nice suction cup mount that was solid, the cups were deep so the suction was firm. Because there are two of them (not connected to each other) I was able to place one at the upper end of the heater and the other at the lower end and now my heater is positioned just like I like it with no tug from the cord.
The dial has actual numbers on it that represent the temperature you want your tank at. The knob you dial the temperature with turns orange when it is heating and greed when the tank is at temperature.

| Performance vs. Expectations |
My old heater just had bars so I had to guess. I set my Stealth to 80 which is right where I wanted it. The package said it was accurate to within 1 degree and my reading was 79.5 degrees. I did end up increasing it to 82 in order to keep the temp up at night so now it is between 79 and 81.5. Not bad considering my old one swung much farther.

| Value for money |
I got mine on sale at PetCo (you can get them all over the place) and so the price was outstanding. The heater is well built, looks fancy, and will attach to the tank well. There are heaters with even better accuracy and settings than this one, but they cost two to three times as much money. For the value, I haven't found a better heater than the Stealth.

1. I would actually rather the light be blue instead of green to show the temperature is good. Since I have moon lights on the tank, I am more used to seeing blue and so this would just blend in.
