Installation and Operation The attachment of the mounting bracket could be clearer in the instructions. The square body can limit installation locations. Temperature setting is more difficult than typical heaters.

Performance vs. Expectations So far it performs well and the temperature setting is accurate. The temperature adjustment isn't as simple as a typical heater with a dial, but once you know how, the back lit digital display is great and cool looking. While maintaining the set temperature (adjustable to 0.5 degree increments) the display is green. If the temperature is too low the display turns blue (also means it's heating) and if the temp is too high the display is red.

When doing large water changes you may want to heat the make up water before adding it to your aquarium. The wattage rating appears higher than what the heater is capable and it seems to take excessive time to bring tank temp up after water changes.

Value for money For a heater it's quite expensive, but I'd rather pay up front now than cook my fish later with a less reliable heater.

Customer Support So far there has been no need.

Liked about it 1. COMPLETELY electronic thermostat with digital display.
2. Very accurate with temperature adjustments of 0.5 degree increments.
3. Glass body is enclosed in a plastic housing for protection.

Didn't like 1. Wattage rating seems higher than what is actually is.
2. Low flow alarm (flashing red) is annoying.
3. Mounting bracket design could be better.

Worth the Price

Installation and Operation Installation is basically plug and play. Instructions are simple to follow. It is a breeze to set the desired temperature. The adjustment lever makes it super easy to change temp setting in .5 degree increments.

Performance vs. Expectations I expected a lot out of the heater and I am not disappointed. My temperature stays steady anytime I check it.

Value for money The heater is a bit on the pricey side but I feel confident that it will not fail me.

Liked about it I like the easy adjustment lever and the fact that I can set it in half degree increments. The small monitor on the heater shows green when the temp of the water matches the setting. A simple peek into my sump lets me know my water is at the correct temp(I also use a glass thermometer in my DT for backup). If the water is too hot the monitor turns red, and blue if water is too cold. I also like the plastic casing the heaters are in to decrease the chance of any accidents.

Didn't like The price is only thing I could possibly complain about, but they are worth the money.
