I have a few filter feeders in my reef so I bought this food. I followed the directions and added to the tank accordingly. I would place some tank water in a bottle add the powder shake for minute than pour it into the tank. Seeing the water cloud up is a little worrisome. I know that a few feather dusters and some cleaner clams cannot possibly ingest all of the product I was adding to the tank. Where does the rest go? Feeds algae blooms? I am not sure. I have discontinued use of this stuff for the time being. I am on the fence if I will continue to use it or not.

I use this 1-2 times per week. I shut my skimmer and filter off when feeding. Mixes well and no clumps or balls of dried phyto. |
