This is a great staple food to supplement / change up the feeding for my tank. All of the fish go after it, even the "frozen/live food only" fish like to munch it! I've even recommended Formula One and Two to my LFS, I know they sell it, but they usually feed their stock with live/frozen foods. They were glad to hear that the fish I've purchased from them have take flakes even after consuming mainly frozen / live at the store.

Top three things:
Great nutritional value to help supplement the diets of my fish.
Fish love it as a combination to brine shrimp or other offerings.
Doesn't cloud the tank water and is low in ash and phosphorus which is great if you ever worried about feeding flakes.

I can't think of an minuses, even my picky eaters welcome the Formula One and Two flakes as an alternative to brine, mysis, squid, etc.

I am a big fan of the formula one and two flakes. They are a good staple food that are eaten by all but the most picky fish.

Large flakes with very little powder, and doesnt cloud the water.

As with all flake foods must shut off all pumps to keep in the tank. Filtered food is not helpful.

Ocean Nutrition's Formula 1 flake food is a great food for a majority reef fishes. It's easy to feed and lasts for a long while.

Fish Love it!
| General |
This is a good basic flake food. I don't like to feed my fish the same food everyday so I make my own mush from seafood I buy at the fish market. I use this food along with my homemade food to give them a variety. I would def recommend this food. Ive used this brand for yrs now and will continue to buy and use it. |
