Gets the job done but doesn't last long

Comments It seems like there wouldn't be much to say about a clip with a suction cup but there are a few items to point out. I didn't like the way this looked hanging in my tank, so I would take it out between feedings. This was a mistake as it wasn't long before the suction cup got stiff and wouldn't suction anymore.

There are grooves in the clip that are meant to hold tighter to whatever you put between them. I found the seaweed just stuck in them and required me to pick it out as rinsing wasn't enough. A small matter, but a bit of a pain nonetheless.

One thing I really liked was that the clip itself is smaller than other clips I've used. That way the fish can eat more closely to the clip and only that little bit between the pincers gets wastes.

Liked about it 1. Affordable.
2. Small clasp exposes more of the food to fish.

Didn't like 1. Suction cup hardened quickly. This happens with suction cups over time, but it seemed to take less time with this clip.

I was expecting more

Comments Did not like this product, works as advertise, holds the food but within minutes food is no longer on the clip. I purchased another style which works much better ( has a net/grid )

Liked about it Suction cup works great
Strong clip
Cheap priced

Didn't like It is not the product per say but rather the seaweed. This clip holds the food but as the seaweed sits and fish pick at it, the seaweed eventual is floating and in piece through out the tank. A better design is in order.

doesnt stay in place

Comments Works well enough, but it is unlikely to stay on the glass as designed. Better to use a magnet type of clip. With the suction cup, they become brittle with time and exposure to the elements, so if you're hoping for a reliable way of clipping seaweed to your tank consider some of the other alternatives.

Liked about it It's cheap. That's the best part of this device. Unfortunately, there are other solutions that are considerably better for serving this function.

Didn't like Simply put, this is not a great design to stay in place long term, or to last over the years in a marine environment. A nice magnet style clip works considerably better.

My fish said NO WAY!

Comments Free clip to anyone who wants it. I'm quarantining a new brown powder tang. He loves my black clip and prefers it be dropped in the tank loaded up, not on the glass.

Put this white one in and he flushes 10 shades lighter with vertical bars showing in his sides.
Refuses to come close to it, and hides, darts, jumps, bucks and whinnies till removed.

Liked about it Suction cup might hold, dunno

Didn't like Harrasses my fish to their demise...lol

Simple and effective

Comments This in basically a must have if you want to keep Tangs or other grazing fish. Securely holds seaweed or other type of leafy vegetable in place so fish can eat. Suction cup will harden over time....sometimes running some HOT water over the suction cup will add some flexibility again.

Liked about it Very inexpensive
Fish get very used to its presence

Didn't like No complaints
