Nutritional deficiencies in the reef is just asking for trouble. I like to ensure that my inhabitants are getting proper nutrition. Soaking food with a product like this is a good idea, especially when adding a new fish. I am sure it helps the filter feeders also.

Feed the 1 day old brine shrimp.

If you are going to wait a day to feed out your brine shrimp that just hatched, then feed them Selcon to help build their nutritional value.

Adds nutrients to all frozen foods. I add it every time I feed out frozen mysis.

The fats separate out over time, so vigorous shaking is necessary to make the solution homogeneous again.
