good flake food
Comments
This product is a good quality flake food. Everyone in my tank will go after this food. My Copperband Butterfly even eats it. I always like to have a bottle of flake food just in case I run out of frozen food.
My Coppperband was very finicky for the first few weeks. After he seen his tankmates eating, I'm assuming he couldn't resist and gave it a try.

1. I like the price
2. I like how you can use it in an automatic feeder or the traditional pinch method.
3. When my 6 year old wants to feed fish, she doesn't like touching the frozen cubes, she goes for the flake, with mom or dad's permission. :)
4. I can get my fishies to eat this from my finger tips

I can't think of anything I didn't like about this product. This doesn't mean it's perfect, just I have no complaints.

Staple marine flake food for carnivores and omnivores
Comments
The Omega One marine flakes, an excellent value, is the one food that I regularly feed my non-herbivore fish. They generally eat it very well although I have a few finicky feeders who wait for brine or mysis shrimp feedings. It is easy to store in its airtight container and works in automatic feeders.

Healthy omega one diet made with fresh seafood that keeps my fish healthy. Most fish and some invertebrates like to eat it. Easy to add a pinch and even easier to use an automatic feeder. Feeding can be directed with a pipette (or baster) toward livestock that I am trying in particular to feed. Some freshwater fish (i.e., gourami and fantail goldfish) also like the marine flakes.

This food won't feed all the fish. Some fish are too finicky and require more tempting foods. Another food has to be added to the tank to feed the herbivores. The container's misleading directions suggest feeding three times daily (as much as the fish eat in two minutes) - really? - this is way too much feeding for most fish in my experience.

Saved my Clown...
Comments
Normally I do not feed flakes. But in this case, I had a very sick clown fish in quarantine. The fish wouldn't eat anything I offered. That's when I tried Omega flakes with garlic. The food stayed suspended long enough for the fish to get some of in his mouth. It was about a 2 week period where I could only get him to eat flakes. After he got stronger I was able to introduce more varieties of food. Many months later, the Clown is fully recovered and eating anything that passes in front of him. Unfortunately I do not feed my reef flake food, so the food will spoil before I use it all.
