I built this for half as much at my hardware store featured

Installation and Operation this is a totally necessary product if you plan on using the Phosban reactor as a hang on the back unit. The reactor is designed to go just about anywhere, and it has a lip and leveling screw specifically for the purpose of hanging it on the back of a tank, so it is designed for this. However, while the reactor easily hangs on the back of the tank, the tubing is a bit of a pain. That's where this kit comes in, it's nothing more than a few tubes and elbow joints that ease the tubing down into the tank, which is a must do for hang on use.

None of my local fish stores carried this product, but could order it, I didn't want to wait. I simply looked at the parts on the Internet and then went to my local Home Depot and purchased the parts there. When I got my second reactor I got the proper product you see here and I have to admit there is a difference between what I did myself and the actual product by Two Little Fishes. The parts just look nicer, and fit better. I will end up buying the real one to replace my do in myself job soon.

There's really nothing to installing this, just push all the fittings together and you're done. Even without instructions I think most aquarists could do it.

Performance vs. Expectations This actually worked better than I had expected. I thought it was so simple that my do it yourself version was just as good. Really, this fits together better, and hangs better as well. I just feel more secure with the quality of this job than my own.

Value for money This isn't a costly product at all, if my local fish store had it in stock when I was buying, I would have had no issues spending the money on it.

Customer Support I've not needed customer support for this product but did use their web site, which I found to be very lacking in any useful information.

Liked about it 1. Fits together nicely.
2. Affordable.
3. Made for the Phosban reactor by the people who actually make the Phosban reactor.

Didn't like 1. Not available in local shops usually.

I'm so glad I purchased this along with the PhosBan Reactor 150

Installation and Operation The product was very easy to install. Diagrams were included on the back of the packaging which was helpful. There were multiple diagrams which gave you installation choices. Maintenance should be simple because of the nature of the product.

Performance vs. Expectations The product would have performed as advertised if the PhosBan Reactor had been a hang on the back product. However, this extension kit was very valuable in installing the Phosban Reactor.

Value for money It was definitely worth the cost. Without these parts, installation of the main product would have been more difficult.

Customer Support I have not dealt with the company.

Liked about it I like the detailed diagrams on the packaging, the price and the performance.

Didn't like I wish there had been more parts included in the package - like elbows and connectors.
