Cleans the water very well. The no bypass system is very evident in the clarity of the water. Loads of bio filtration available. Marineland customer service is excellent. Good thing, you'll need it.

Works for about 6 months, then leaks. I have four of them running on my 210g freshwater tank. After 1 year of operation, only 1 of them is original, and the others are leaking. I have had to call Cust. service 4 times so far, and they have been very efficient at sending out parts. If they fix the real problem of the continuous leaking, I would consider buying it again. Untill then, I'll wait until they are off warranty them replace them with another brand, most likely Fluvals or Renas. Hope this helped.
