Overall good value for simple viltration needs

Installation and Operation Easy to install, even for the non-mechanically inclined. Comes with good instructions, no one should have any issues getting it to work. I had it up and running within 15 minutes of opening the box.

Performance vs. Expectations Overall performance is really good. I am currently using this to over-filter a 20G quarantine tank and it keeps it extremely nice and clean. It also provides nice surface agitation as well as flow in the tank. I haven't had any issues.

Value for money I don't think you can beat it for the money. I had this previously running on a 40G tank as well and it was just fine. For less than $100 I don't think it gets much better.

Liked about it Easy to install
Works great
Easy to change filter media

Didn't like A little noisy

Nice filter

General I put one of these filters on my quarantine tank. Nice unit. It is a little loud in my opinion. In a fresh water application the bio wheels are a nice addition. Easy as can be to set up and use.

Liked about it Hang on back design
Simple filter
Easy media change

Best HOB Filter

General I would first recommend that you use a sump and then a wet/dry and then the HOB. It is what I started my first tank and it ran for well over a year. The reason that I gave it a 2 for "Would condider buying again" is that I will always use sumps from now on.

Liked about it easy to change filters and maintain
