Junk, Just Junk featured

Installation and Operation Out of the box, rinsed everything off, poped the pipe together. Its on the tank.

Performance vs. Expectations I LOVED Marineland for my freshwater aquarium, but for my saltwater....
NO!
I Have bought three filters already, spending almost $100! Within a month they get loud, not loud enough to annoy you in the day, but at night! OH BOY! My newest filter got loud in one week!

Value for money Its an okay value. But they make most of their money off the replacement cartridges, which are very expensive.
The average price for $9.99 (3pk) at the store, Lowest I've seen if for $8.99 (3pk)

So consider replacing the filter cartridges once every two weeks It will cost about $6.50/ Month to keep the filter running with new filter cartridges. That's almost $80 a year! A real eye opener.

Customer Support I'm going to call customer support today to figure out why my one week old filter is loud. I hear that the customer support kinda sucks at marine land.

Liked about it Easy to change filter cartridge
Nice design
I can see the wheel turning
Easy to replace cartridges

Didn't like Gets Loud
Not the Best Value
EXPENSIVE Filter cartridges ( 3 for $8.99 - $14.99)

Decent HOB for a QT or small FO system

General Like most HOBs it is durable and relatively simple. It has some flaws for reef applications but is good for a small quarantine or fish only tank.

Liked about it Nearly indestructable and I have one over 5 years old.
Offers mechanical, chemical and biological filtration togethor.

Didn't like Too many separate pieces and the biowheel needs bearings to run properly. It can create nitrate issue in a reeftank. If clogged water will bypass carbon,
