Wonderful Unit 
| Installation and Operation |
Like all Fluval products, the engineers had a sense of quality and ease of use when designing this filter. The instructions are very clear and well thaught out. The filter itself has a slot for a prefilter sponge, and three slots providing different types of media combinations. Its "No Drip" hose release lever is ingenious. It alows for flawless cleanings and a very fast way to get it back up and running once removed. The pump is very quiet and has not givin me any dissapointments in 6 months of operation. Installation is very simple as is getting the unit primed. To prime the unit, Just pull up and push down on the primer handle until the bubbles dissapear from the exit in the tank. Its that simple!

Expected what they advertise on the box. 180 GPH, easy filter media changing, non drip canister transportation. Quiet pump, and easy priming. Has performed exactly as advertised since day 1.

I paid 129.99 for they unit at Petsmart. Quality parts, does not come with filter media. Worth every penny.
