The Whisper 10 provides mechanical, chemical and biological filtration for for 5 to 10 gallon, salt or freshwater aquariums. The filter performs at 90gph. It is economical and easy to use. - - The Whisper provides mechanical Filtration with a dual-sided mesh that catches debris and fish waste in it's dense fibrous network. - - Chemical Filtration is achieved with Ultra-activated carbon that absorbs odors and discoloration. - - The Aerobic Frame is deeply etched to provide a receptive surface for aerobic bacteria. Using the same Aerobic Frame and replacing only the carbon and mesh helps to maintain biological filtration. Aerobic biological filtration converts toxic ammonia and nitrites into harmless natrates. - - The filter has a convenient flow control nob that allows you to turn down the flow to promote better feeding. It also extends cartridge life by reducing uneaten food particles that can cause clogging.

Easy to use

Installation and Operation	Great to use for beginners with FO tanks. I use these to teach kids about the 3 different types of filtration.
Performance vs. Expectations	Produces 90gph if clean which is enough of for a 10 gallon with 5 small fish.
Value for money	Just exchange the carbon and your set no other long term costs other than 2 cents a day for power.

Liked about it	Enough flow for a small tank. Able to suck up water if it is an inch or two below the filter.
Didn't like	No ground plug! I get shocked all the time!
