I had read a couple independent tests and found this to be some of the best available in terms of absorption and phosphate leaching. I generally don't run carbon 24/7 but during an emergency, I'll toss this in and help drop any potential nitrogenous waste issues. This will noticeably clarify the water within hours, so much so that you have to be careful to not over-light and stress out your corals.
