I have these bags in a few sizes. The 5x8 being my personal favorite size. They seem to last forever. Just rinse daily to keep the nitrates in the system down and then wash in the machine once a month or so. They come out looking brand new. NEVER USE LAUNDRY DETERGENT.
One thing I did not like about the bags was the zip tie used for securing. After struggling for awhile I replaced the zip tie with rubber airline tubing. Now its a breeze to replace it. Just un-tie rinse and re-tie it.

Great pre-filter for the sump
gives the skimmer a little break by catching larger pieces of debris
re-usable......they last a long time
