The product does everything that it says it will on the back of the box. The guy at the LFS suggested it and told me I would be surprised by what it does. I payed $7.49 for the product and honestly I would probably pay twice as much for it. It is well worth the money. I change it out every month.

I really enjoy the price, it is fairly inexpensive for being such a great product. I don't know exactly how it does but it does a good job polishing your water and makes it crystal clear. You can also tell by looking at the bag when it is time to change it,it will start tuning a brownish in color.

The only I wish was different about this product was the size. It would be nice if they made a larger back. If they do make one I have yet been able to find it.

One of the best products I ever used
| General |
It is so nice to actually find a product that does what it says it will. I started using this about 3 years ago and It works, my water is so clear that my fish look like they are floating. Use a good pre-filter material and the Purigen will last longer, I use two 100ML bag in my small sump. Don't waste your time bleaching it to re-juvinate it, just buy a replacement pad, it is cheaper that your time and I tried it once and the product just was not the same. use it in a high flow area. The product keeps the tank water "clean and clear" For the price, you would have to be crazy not to try it. I feel this is one of the best keep secrets in the hobby. Why I don't see it at the LFS is beyond me. |

Great extra filter for a reef environment

After using this product my water has been clearer than I have ever seen it. Dust algae on glass has also diminished.

Changes color to let you know when has depleted itself

Product is re-usable.
