This is a decent product, but there is definitely higher quality GAC available to hobbyist. I used this for a year or so, and it absolutely works in removing toxins. I had a few leathers that I know were "fighting" with other corals so I had to run GAC 24/7.

It is a good price, and the size of the pieces is perfect for running in a media reactor. It didn't take much rinsing to get clean either.

Decent carbon, widely available

THere are other carbons that are more expensive and better but this is a good middle of the road product. |
