A must have for the Marine Aquariest

I found these at my LFS for 4.25 each. it is one of those things that you need to just have around and will use occasionally except for media like carbon and phosphate.

Durable nylon material, string synch closing system is durable as well. just tie a knot and what ever is in won't get out. I put a squid (dead) that I use to fish with in one of these bags to cycle my tank. It was in the sump for three weeks even though there was not much left from the decay it kept the loose remaining parts in the bag. not on the bottom of my sump.

Excellent media sock
| Comments |
Great sock for placing near overflows of a tank or sump to ensure water is contacted before return. I generally place a knot in the drawstring after inserting media and have found the knot is easily undone when needed.

A lot sturdier than I thought
| General |
I bought 2 more after using one bag for a month, no more used nylons. |

Very sturdy, holds a lot of material.

Draw string top makes me a little nervous about media coming out, granted nothing has come out yet.
