I purchased this product to help remove unwanted phosphates and silicates. I believe each bag is good for up to 40 gallons so for my 125 gallon I needed 3 minimum. For the results I got I was not incredibly impressed, although the situation never got worse. I realize they say that it will last 6 months but seems a little expensive when you are buying several. Nothing is cheap in reefing!!!

Made to take care of several problems. Lasts for a long time. Already in a filter bag that cannot be opened.

Did not get the results that I wanted. I could possibly be the exception, may have been expecting to much. Need several bags for larger tanks.

Works like a charm. Keeps the tank pristine

Very Simple and easy to use all in one binding media.
Just fill the bag, rinse it and throw it in your sump for a few months.
Clears the water, removed Ammonia, Nitrates, Phosphates etc.

Great Media
| General |
This is a great product. The media lasts up to six months. The Boyds claims you don't even have to do water changes though I would never do that. The best part of this product is the fact it has a phosphate remover in it. Give it a try you shouldn't be dissapointed. |
