a good media but keep an eye on it

I started out with this media and had my ph drop below 6.6 and the media melted and clogged my reactor quickly. Then after than I had the unit clog in about 4 months from debris build up.
Other than that this media was great and created a very consistant effluent. |

Quality product, a good solution
| General |
A good media for a calcium reactor, however the smaller media is a bit more of a risk. It is more likely to deteriorate, making flow through the reactor more of a challenge and more likely to trap wastes. If your setup lends itself more to a small media, this is a great product, but in most cases I'd recommend the coarse media. |
