A very nice book visually but not a great reference for aquarists

I love this book, the photographs are stunning and the information is a great resource for divers and fish watchers or those going to a public aquarium. However, I don't feel like this is a good reference book for aquarists.
It lives in that middle ground between a reference book and a coffee table book. That's not an insult to the book or the authors, I just don't think it was meant for the same purpose as a pocket guide is. As an aquarist, I like the practical information contained in a pocket guide. The science in the book is totally interesting and the photos are awesome.
Every time I've seen this book for sale the price has been too high for my liking.
