Great for scientists or marine biologist, not hobb

I just got this book in to my used bookstore and I was excited when i was told we got it. it is an exhaustive resource for finding the scientific names of an incredible number of marine fish. there are 1000's of pictures and the natural range of the fish is described. it is a little bit old not (1990) so the information and pictures seem a little dated, but it's interesting to leaf through. don't pay for a new copy, find a used copy that way you won't feel like you wasted 80 bucks. it might be worth it for a marine bilogy major, but a hobbyist won't get much use out of it.
