This book was and still is one of the best resources for information on keeping of giant clams. There are newer books around but the information in this book is not dated and i give two thumbs up on bang for the buck. I have owned five copies of this book, originally paying around fifty bucks, and now paying around ten including shipping for members of my club and friends in this hobby. It makes a great gift for those getting their first clam, because inevitably they end up having a million questions. I currently have a copy as a reference which i don't need often, but will more than likely gift that volume and get another.

Liked about it	Very informative on all levels. It is written to cover the basics and the more detailed levels. The illustrations are really cool, which show all the anatomy. I also like the low cost at witch this book is now available... Most quality fish books are rather expensive and this is defiantly a hidden gem.
Didn't like	Well some more color photos would be nice but its not a picture book so i understand...
