headache featured

Installation and Operation set up was easy, add live gravel (kinda sand)and some live rock, poor in premixed water thanx to the lfs. wait two weeks. i bought thermometer strip a little late and found my tank temp had maxed it out (over 84)

Performance vs. Expectations OVERHEATS. added another fan to top helps some. started to use and external filter because water would not get clean. ended up adding a small 2 gal tank as a refugium. making a pipe system using the canister filter to circulate water. got a 5 gal tank hooked to it for the hermit crabs i got it for in the first place( brought home from vacation, don't do it). now with the extra water i can keep the tank cool if i keep the ceiling fan running. it will heat up all three dangerously if i don't. I added a small protein skimmer to it(made by oceanic) to it later.. oh and i took the tank down and added an under gravel filter. the kind driven by an air stone same time i added the canister filter.

Value for money the tank was 189 but so far spent over 500 on it.

Customer Support they said " yes it heats up". current has B. S. customer service.

Liked about it i finally got it pretty.

Didn't like overheats. filtration doesn't work well. they could have vented the top better to dissipate the heat better. there are spots for 2 fans and they put in only 1. needs a fan blowing air around lights them selves to drive out heat(i added that too).

Great Nano tank featured

Installation and Operation This was my first tank and it was great. It was very easy to set up and install. I found that doing a 2 gallon water change every week kept the tank looking and running great. The one thing that they could do to make it better is to make a better surface overflow. It always got a film on the surface, that I think an overflow would help eliminate. Since most people don't run skimmers on these size tanks.

Performance vs. Expectations It was better than I even thought it was going to be. It comes with pretty good lighting. At the time I bought my power compacts were big, but now they should put in T5 in my opinion. I was still able to keep coral in it, but I think it would be beter with T5's.

Value for money I don't think it was very expensive considering what you were getting. The finish on them is fairly nice.

Liked about it Very attractive looking set up. Not to expensive. And it is very easy to maintane.

Didn't like The only thing I didn't like was the lack of surface skimming. I think if they improved the surface skimming with a good overflow design it would help eliminate the film that builds up sometimes.

Love mine

Installation and Operation Easy to install, instructions are easy, easy to operate and maintain. Have not had to deal with any maintenance yet other the routine cleaning.

Performance vs. Expectations Performs better then expected. It is complete and ready to go.

Value for money Great value for the money if you want a all in one package. I paid $189 for mine at the LFS.

Customer Support Never had to deal with them.

Liked about it Ease of setup, just put it on the stand, add your stuff and your good to go. Very easy and like I said before the all in one thing is so cool. Adequate flow, lighting and volume for a really good price.

Didn't like The only thing I don't like is the pump. It does a great job but by default unless I am doing it wrong the bend in the tubing restricts the flow. I fixed it by giong to Home Depot and buying my own tube and configuring it the way I wanted.

Good Nano

General I have this tank and it makes a great nano I keep some basic corals Zoas and mushrooms and they do every well in the tank. It comes ready to go just add water and your off. it is a great starter for anyone wanting a nano reef

Liked about it Nice Nano size tank with everything built in so no wasted room in the Display area, the seamless glass is also very nice. The lights come with the tank arent bad either.

Didn't like The Overflow vents arent the greatest and the return pump is in an awkward spot for the Y return that sometimes the slightest knock will cause it to pop off.

Very nice tank.

General This tank is a great little tank for a nano reef. I have it set up right now and love it. The overflow design could use some work. I have had a small fish get caught in the back chamber many times. The overflow as well doesn't skim teh surface very well due to a vent that is in teh middle of the first chamber. I have since had to modify mine and cover that up. The pump return is also in an odd place. It doesn't leave much room for a Y return. Other than that I love this tank. Its great that you have the option on HQI or PC lights.

Liked about it I love the design of the tank and how it is seamless.

Didn't like where the pump return is located, the overflow design.

12 Gallon Nano

Installation and Operation Very much plug and play, cords for lights and pump. Have to add heater if you so choose.

Performance vs. Expectations Definitely performs up to specifications, depending on flow you require power heads or upgraded pump may be necessary but out of the box is a simple quick setup.

Value for money Very little cost for everything you're getting in this setup.

Customer Support Have not yet had to deal with CS at all.

Liked about it Ease of setup, Comes with surface skimmer, Plug and play

Didn't like Bigger pump would have been nice, and to offer higher lighting requirement hoods.
