Installation and Operation The instructions for this tank are very straight forward, but the setup itself is self explanatory so you really don't need the included instructions. After putting together the stand, it was easy to get the tank positioned, filled, and running. The lighting is already installed, and the pumps and media basket are too. The included media was in plastic bags and was easy to open, though I didn't use any of it. The tank looks really nice with the stand, which provides plenty of storage space for equipment and power cords.

Performance vs. Expectations I haven't ever had any other tank than a Nano Cube, so I don't know how it compares to other systems, but the Nano Cube is a very good all-in-one system. If you decide to use the included wavemaker, the flowrate does drop a bit, but the wavemaker does add a nice look to the movement of corals. The filtration on the tank works pretty well, though it would be nice if the sump were a little bigger so it were more customizable, but it works well if setup properly. As far as lighting, I would have liked to have separate bulbs for the lights, but the light is built so that you can't buy interchangeable bulbs, it is all one large fixture. I would also have liked to have separate power cords for the actinic and white lights to have them turn on and off at different times, but the way it is set up works well. The LED moonlights add a really nice affect at night, and provide great nighttime viewing of the tank.

Value for money I would definitely buy this tank again, though if I could get the HQI version I would go with that just because of the more powerful lighting, though I wouldn't like to have to buy a chiller for it. It's definitely worth every penny that I spent, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a similar system.

Customer Support Not applicable.

Liked about it Almost everything.

Didn't like The actinic and white lights don't have separate power cords.
The sump could be larger and more customizable.
The powerheads could have higher flow rates.

Have a fish guy instruct you on WHAT NOT TO DO ! FAST...Affordable...SIZE...LIGHTS !!!

Installation and Operation DO NOT pour live sand in while at pumps are on !

DO NOT ADD TAP WATER TO TANK, DO NOT USE chlorinated TAP WATER in TANK ! BUY PREMIXED ! ONLY ! if you go salt !

USE HEATER that is ALMOST COMPLETELY SUBMERSIBLE-this is the KEY to the heater working ! buy a good HEATER !

Customer support lines are difficult to look up and they have not picked up, ? :)

Make sure PUMPS are connected !

I found your Manual, lacking.. to say the least, in the basics of starting an Aquarium, no lie...

Performance vs. Expectations Yes and No. Very reliable. Affordable. HUGE ! lighting !!!

Value for money I wanted something FAST ! and the price was right.

Customer Support I got no support-kept calling...

Liked about it 10,000/7,100 k 105 watt electronic ballast !

SIZE of Aquarium !

Price...

Didn't like Directions manual.

WHOLE BACK LAYOUT !! may break... did not with me, but, may.. if you stick your arm in there trying to clean it out. Very difficult to clean back layout out if sand or obstructions get back there.

Pumps are NOT THE STATED 266 GPH IMHO... much-MUCH lower: 160-180 GPH-tubes on pumps are wrong size...
