This is plug and play. I've had this pump for 5+ years and I haven't had to do anything to it yet.

| Performance vs. Expectations |
This thing was the workhorse of my freshwater tank. Moved a lot of air. I've ran up to a 12 inch long airstone with no problem. I bought this pump on sale because I had one pump that was failing at the time, it took it's place even before the other pump died.

This is easy to use. I liked the fact it has rubber feet to cut down on the noise. It dosen't put out a ton of noise like I've seen with other pumps. Long cord made this easy to make a drip loop. This pump is readily available at just about any pet store.

Work real good!
| Installation and Operation |
As all air pumps you just plug it in. I still have this pump and I bought this 5 years ago and it's still running strong on my fresh water tank. It makes some high vibrating sounds when put on a hard surface.
I have not done any maintenance on this pump in the 5 years and it's been running non stop from day one.
