Awesome pump when all else fails
Installation and Operation
Very simple installation, I recommend simply hanging it above the tank and dropping the airline into the display of your system.

Performance vs. Expectations
This item works better than expected. While it does make a noise when operating, the function it provides is priceless. I've had it run for more than 48 hours during a power failure on two D cell batteries.

Value for money
For under $15, this item is priceless. I have 3 of them (2 operational, one backup) and they've saved my tank a number of times. Considering how much most items cost in this hobby, this item may as well be free.

Liked about it
Again, this item provides a definite sense of security. They turn on automatically when power fails, providing desperately needed oxygenation in your tank when pumps arent running. Small and cheap, you'd be foolish not to have one or more on hand.

Didn't like
The only negative thought is that there is some sound when they're running, but to me that tells me that there's an issue (if home power is otherwise on) or gives me comfort that they're taking care of my system.
