Works great in a small non SPS system. featured

Comments I used this product for a long time while keeping Soft Corals LPS and just a few SPS. I always used it conjunction with Part B (alkalinity).

This is a great product for a smaller system with mostly soft corals and LPS. It's not super concentrated so it's not the best choice for a system with high Calcium/Alkalinity needs.

Very simple to dose I just added a few cap fulls every morning.
As with any additive it's very important to test and monitor you levels as to not overdose or under dose your tank.

When used properly and in conjunction with Part B this is a great supplement for any smaller mixed reef.

I say smaller because this product could get very expensive if you start going through a gallon a month. At that point you need a calcium reactor. I started with Kent Tech CB part A/B then as my Ca/Alk needs increased I moved up to Liquid Reactor then eventually on to a Calcium Reactor.

Liked about it Extremely simple to dose. Read the label and add per given dosage. Adjust for your system after testing and monitoring levels.
Effective for maintaining calcium levels for a smaller system or system with few stony corals.

Didn't like It is a little on the weak side and if you had a 100g tank and wanted to raise your calcium 100ppm it would take a TON of this product.

Awesome Product

General This is the current two part Ca/Alk buffer system I use (along with my current calcium reactor setup) when I need to make minor level tweaks. It does a great job, dissovles well, gives me predictable results and level changes, and does not irritate my corals.

Liked about it Easy to use

Didn't like Nothing
