When i first got into this hobby as a beginner, this was my God product. With my first reef tank I was keeping an assortment of LPS hard corals which need calcium to grow. Since I had a smaller tank I thought that water changes and my aquarium salt would cover maintaining calcium. However I was wrong. Dosing this product every day helped raise my calcium level from 360, to 430. It changed my growth rate from slow to very rapid. Now my tank is stable and overall a great first reef. I would recommend this product to any of my friends.

So far so good! Doing exactly what it is suposed to be doing.

I purchased this product to be sure that my levels would maintain the proper living space for my corals. So far the corals seem VERY happy in the new home and I am sure its because this product helps to keep the water very hospitable. I really liked that I am able to control both the calcium and the alkalinity. When testing, its not always needed to add both supplements.

I would like to purchase it in bigger quantities. But that is not really a negative for the product.

Great Product for Maintaining your Calcium and Alkalinity
| Comments |
This is a great product for the beginner and advanced hobbyist alike by allowing for the individual correction of calcium and alkalinity. As with any additive product, know what your levels are before you use it, and know what levels you are shooting for by plugging your current water levels into a good reef calculator program before dosing. This product can be used in conjunction with a calcium reactor to help maintain levels. As a tank matures, particularly SPS tanks, this product alone will not keep up with the growing demands of corals and clams. But it is useful in a young tank to keep levels optimal until the tank matures to that point that this product can not keep up (which is a great problem to have) and a calcium reactor is needed to maintain levels. In a mature system, this product is great for adjusting levels as you adjust your calcium reactor. This product can adjust levels to a desired level and the reactor can be dialed to maintain the levels.

A great alternative to a calcium reactor but Liqui
| Comments |
This is a great product for beginners. More advanced aquarisits should consider using Kent Liquid Reactor. Although I do like the ability to control CA/ALK levels seperatly
I used this product for well over a year till my corals grew out and this product could no longer keep up.
At this point I am no longer using this product. I am runnign a Calcium Reactor.

Easy to use and dispense
clear and concise instructions
The ability to independently adjust CA/Alk levels using both part A & B
|
| Didn't like |
In my system I used Part A almost 2:1 versus the part B
