A friend was using this trying to grow corlline with no succes. He gave it to me I put it a way and for got about it until I ran out of cal. suppliment and i read that it will boost cal. I added the recomended amount and it turned my tank in to a milk shake for about an hour untill my skimmer pulled it out of the system. All my corals closed up and stayed closed for the next few hours. Never again its in the trash shame on you kent. coralline will grow on its own if you want to help it along buy some live rock from your lfs that is allredy colored up and put it in your sytem this will sead the rest. This just proves there are no good short cuts in this hobby.

Just another Gimmick!

Although this product is suppose to contain coralline in it as well as the trace element required for coralline to grow it's a little misleading. You do not need any additives to grow coralline. Regular water changes provide more then enough trace elements for easily grow coralline. This product is nothing more then a gimmick as with most verts, vites, excells etc.
Simply keep up with regular water changes and in time you will grow coralline.
I see a lot of people that are new to the hobby buying this as I did because that want their rocks to be purple and after adding this they did start to see coralline. But not because of this product. Because of the minerals that were already in their tank from water changes. Save your money for Corals!

There really is nothing to like about this product it's a gimmick trying to get people to waste their money on a additive that is not needed.

See above please. All this product is, is an overpriced Ca/Alk/Mg additive that only marginally raises trace elements. Save your money for corals and do a water change.

KENT never lets you down

yet another kent product that im glad i bought, this product really brings out the color and helps boost the corallie algae growth. if you have never used kent as an additive brand, you wont regret it, if you have, well you know that you are uing the best out there.

It sparks coralline algae growth. also it will replenish calcium strontium and magnesium that are depleted in you tank as well as buffer ph. i noticed coralline algae growing more prominently within a couple of weeks an my corals seemed to be appreciating the supplement. it also helps stimulate good green macro algae

I use this as a calcium additive. It works wonders for keeping my calcium levels on point and my tank is 6 months old with a great amount of coraline algae. |
