Great value for the money.

Comments This product goes above and beyond in my opinion. I got a 16oz bottle at Petsmart on sale for $12.99 and I was pretty happy considering the 8oz bottle usually runs about $9. I believe it does a great adding the trace minerals that your equipment and critters remove from the water, especially if you use carbon as one of your filtration methods.

Dosing is a piece of cake as well. At 5ml per 50 gallons the bottle lasts awhile and on top of that you do not have to be a chemistry major to use it. I personally have been using it a little over a month now and add 1.25mL after my weekly water changes for my 12g nano. If I do run carbon for a couple of days after over feeding I will dose the tank again.

These are the chemicals that it includes:
Calcium Chloride
Cobalt Chloride
Iron EDTA
Lithium Chloride
Magnesium Chloride
Magnesium EDTA
Nickel Chloride
Potassium Chloride
Potassium Iodide
Sodium Molybdate
Strontium Chloride
Zinc EDTA
Copper EDTA
Potassium Bromide

It does not cover 100% of what you need but covers a broad range of elements that your reef tank needs.

Liked about it =Great price and value for what you get.
=Easy to dose.
=So far it has not compromised any other system parameters.

Like I said before I have been using it for a little over a month now and i have noticed a big change in my corals and other critters. They have started growing a bit and the color is getting a lot better as well.

Didn't like I have not found anything so far that I have not liked about it. The only thing I wish these companies would do is add a syringe or something to use when you dose. If you don't have anything to measure it with most any drug store will give you one, all you have to do is ask.

Great all in one product...

General I have used Kent's Essential Elements for years to maintain the necessary levels of mag, strontium, iodide, and others in my 180gal reef. It's a great, easy to use product that has never let me down.

Liked about it Easy to use, concentrated so it lasts a while, good value.

Essential Elements

General I too have been using this since I started in the reef hobby. I dose between water changes as I feel it is being depleted. There are things included in this supplement that are not typically found in your salt even though so good to dose anyways.

Liked about it Easy to dose, clears up in water in seconds

It's essential stuff

General I add this product at every water change. I also use it when I run carbon for a few days to polish the water.
