Yes. Not worth the money! All this stuff did was give me a big brake out of green hair algae on my live rocks.

Clouds the water very bad. It scared me! Thought my fish health would be in jeopardy when swimming through the muddy cloud that took over the tank for hours! Its very hard to dust off the live rocks that it covers and it give me a big brake out of green hair algae!

Only as a supplement
| General |
I use this strictly for supplement. I do not rely on it to raise calcium or other trace elements.
I also sift it to keep the bigger pieces out. When adding to the tank, I use a turkey baster to blow the LR clean. Makes the water cloudy bad but if you got a good bacteria base, the water clears real quick. My 26 bowfront is clear within 2-3 hours since i have to directly add to the tank. |
