This product works exactly as it says......worth the money. It lasts a long time. Did some research before using this product and it increases gill function which in turn keeps your fish healthier. I have heard some people say that it doesn't increase color in the fish but I see it. My fish are more active after using this product.

The product is easy to dose, not very expensive, and works great. I use this in my Freshwater tank, the fish have brighter colors, and are more active due to the increased gill function.

Yes, freshwater needs salt

After about a year of running my first freshwater tank I came across this product. i know that there are other salts out there for fresh water but i started with this and didn't see any reason to change. by adding this to my water prior to water changes, i began to see improvements int he coloring of my fish. i don't believe it's a "color enhancer" rather it improved the overall health of the environment my fish were in and they showed how happy they were with the coloring they were showing. the product lasted me a long time before i had to re-stock. easy to use, if you're not adding salt to your freshwater (in the right amount) do it now! |

Well worth the money!

It does what it says and well. I would also puchase this product over any compeditor's. It's a reliable brand has a great price and disolves quickly. i Would recommend purchasing if your are on the fence.

This brand is reliable, the products works very well and maintains fish health, and disolves fast. the product also lasts for quite some time. not to mention promotes healthy gill function.

i don't like the container i think it needs to be more easily accessible to get to product such as a large mouthed plastic container.

Doc Wellfish's aquarium salt worked very well for my 75 gallon African Cichlid tank (Malawi). Adding trace amounts of salt to a freshwater tank helps to promote healthy fish and this product did just that! I would use this product again.
