First off I would like to add that this product is not a miracle cure all for algae. I do not think such a product exists. Algae is just too good at thriving, enough herbicide to kill it outright would negatively effect lifestock.
This product works well when you use other measures such as reducing your phosphates and nitrates, adding flow, and feeding appropriately. Once you have done this, use this product for two weeks to deliver that final blow to the algae.
I had my tank topped off with phosphate loaded tap water and had OUTRAGEOUS hair and cyano algae. I did water changes, eliminated the phosphate, and reduced lighting. This eliminated the cyano, and weakened the hair algae. The hair algae began to lose its grip, but my tank needed its light. So while it stayed in place it was still growing.
I added algaefix to the tank of nutrient deprived algae and within days it was all floating off by itself.
This product works great combined with eliminating the source of the problem!
I would also like to add that I used this on a suggestion from a friend who works maintaining aquariums and he says this works like a charm 90% of the time and even when it does not work it doesnt harm anything

It worked well and didnt harm any of my livestock. I have at least some of every 'type' of coral and they all were fine.

This is very expensive for what it is. Its just very diluted herbicide. However the container I bought is enough to treat 2600 gallons so I am sure once Im done with it and its barely used up I can trade it for a frag at a meet or something.

Worked on some algae, not others. Worked with corals.

This product was safe with my corals, fish, and all my inverts with the exception of a coco worm who stayed in his tube through the treatment (2 weeks). Some algae seems to respond well to this, and others didn't seem phased at all. Red bubble algae turned white, and started to flake off after 5 treatments. Green hair algae, and something that resembles small ferns didn't seem effected at all.

I liked that it killed some of the algae (though a slow growing algae which didn't bother anything).

I bought this product to kill green hair algae's, and it did not do this at all. It also seemed to bother my coco feather duster who stayed in his tube the entire 18 day treatment, but has recovered just fine since.

Very worth the money!

This stuff killed 99% of the hair alage in my tank in 10 days. It did not affect any of my fish, inverts, or corals. I did lose a deresa clam, but I can't say it was this product. Use it as directed and you should be happy. Research it on reef central before use as there are a lot of tips on how to get the best results.

1. Removed brown diatoms 2. loosens green hair algae from rock, makes it easy to pull whole mat off
2. Didn't seem to affect most of my corals, except for leathers
3.easy to use

1. Adversely affected my leather corals, didn't kill them, but they shriveled up and are slowly coming back
2 Doesn't remove red cyano-bacteria as promised, in fact it increased at a faster rate. Had to use Boyds Chemiclean
3.I don't know that I will se it anymore, I am afraid to.
