Does exactly what it should do which is raise your mg levels. Easy to use resealable container. Easy instructions as well as videos on the site that tells you how to use this. It dissolves quicky with very little sediment left at the bottom. Just put in a high flow section of your sump and you're done. I place mine right where the water comes in on mine, then gets mixed with the skimmer before returned to the display.

Easy to use. Website has a calculator showing you how much to dose. Container seals up nice and tight so it don't clump up. Mix this with the Magnesium Cholride and you have the best of both sides. Easy to use dosing pumps and cups show you exactly how much you are dosing.

I wished I didn't have to mail order this stuff, but still worth paying for the shipping. I wished the pumps gave out a little less volume because it's hard to get just the right amount.

A good product for small magnesium supplementation, not meant for large changes

This product is a good choice for small magnesium supplementation, but a mag sulfate is not the best choice for long-term or large changes in magnesium by itself. The addition of sulfate without a correlating chloride supplementation can build excessive sulfate in the tank. However, this product is precisely as advertised and is a great product if you're looking for mag sulfate.

Nice packaging, quality product, dissolves quickly, and works as advertised. The container can be reused, which is nice. I really enjoyed dealing with BRS as well, and they're webpage clearly provides instructions on how much of their product to dose in order to meet your needs.

Nothing negative to say about the product itself, however philosophy of dosing magnesium sulfate by itself needs to be well understood prior to using.

BRS Mg

Everything by BRS has worked for me as stated on their website. I use their magnesium mix all the time. I love the fact that you can calculate your needs right on their website and their customer service is excellent. The value is "amazing" and I don't use any other Mg supplements because of this. Excellent bang for the budget reefer.
